Our Training
For Staff, Clinicians and Organisations
Lived Experience Australia delivers professional training for mental health staff, clinicians, and organisations across Australia's private mental health sector. Our training supports meaningful consumer and carer inclusion in service delivery, helping organisations meet National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards while building genuinely collaborative relationships with the people they serve.
All training is designed and delivered by people with lived experience of mental health challenges. We work with hospitals, private practices, community mental health services, and peak bodies to develop practical approaches to consumer and carer engagement. Training can be delivered via Zoom or face-to-face depending on location and requirements.
Online Training Modules
Our online learning platform at learn.livedexperienceaustralia.com.au provides modules and recorded webinars specifically for mental health professionals. The Best Practice in Consumer and Carer Inclusion modules offer practical guidance on involving consumers and carers meaningfully in patient-centred care models.
These modules provide 2.5 RANZCP CPD Activity (code: ED000031) and 5.0 ACMHN CPE points. For hospitals, the modules support progress towards National Safety and Quality Health Service Standard 2: Partnering with Consumers.
